You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. Do not use it to transmit harmful content, attempt to breach security, or cause disruption. We reserve the right to restrict access if your behaviour raises concerns.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including images, designs, text and logos, belongs to Curious Pixels unless otherwise stated. Do not copy, modify or reuse our work without permission. We are flattered, but it is still considered infringement.

3. Website Content

We aim to keep our content accurate, current and helpful. However, we cannot guarantee that every detail is perfect. Curious Pixels is not liable for any losses, direct or indirect, resulting from the use of or reliance on our content.

4. Links to Other Sites

We occasionally link to websites we find useful or inspiring. We are not responsible for their content, privacy policies or availability.

5. Ordering Services

When you enquire or place an order, we will confirm all details in writing. Nothing is final until we both agree in writing, usually via email. We reserve the right to decline projects that do not align with our values or capacity.

5.1 Client Approval and Responsibility

Our signature Pixel Process ensures clarity and satisfaction throughout the project. We require formal approval at each stage before moving forward. It is your responsibility to carefully review all materials before sign-off. Changes requested after approval may incur additional costs and delays.

5.2 Final Proofreading for Print

For print materials such as brochures, business cards or packaging, the final sign-off is essential. While we take great care in our work, it is your responsibility to proofread all text, spellings and contact details. Curious Pixels is not liable for any errors discovered after your final approval.

6. Payments

To confirm your project and reserve time in our schedule, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required before any work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon final approval, prior to the release of any deliverables or the website going live.

All invoices are issued electronically and are payable within 7 calendar days of receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur a 5% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance. Final files, access credentials or intellectual property rights will not be transferred until full payment has been received and cleared.

For larger or phased projects, an alternative staged payment plan may be agreed in advance. For ongoing services such as creative retainers, monthly payment in advance is required, with a rolling 30-day notice period for cancellation.

We love design. Chasing invoices, not so much.

7. Privacy and Data

We collect only the personal information required to deliver our services, such as your name, email and project details. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to ensure the site runs smoothly, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free. Curious Pixels is not responsible for technical issues or losses that result from using the site.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be handled in the Scottish courts.
